"New World?” deals with the downsides of NFT’s, which has been a big issue of the economic system. Using real-time data from one of the biggest NFT trading platforms OpenSea, the environmental problems of NFT’s are expressed in the form of waves. The waves remind of waste piled up on the beach while also expressing the massive influence of blockchain technology, which has come over us like a huge wave. Caroline's work leaves room for contemplation about the necessity and future of NFT.
